Letter from Roy Bruce to Maud Bruce

Just a line on
Christmas day to let you know I am
still flourishing and fit after the
recent hard work and fighting.

The old 8 th did very
good work, and I expect some
decoration for one of my subalterns -
particulars later.

You will have seen
all details in the papers long before
you receive this.

We are still very busy
and at present there is no time
for writing.
